For many multicultural families in the US, the neighborhood school is the only option they know. K12 needed to educate these audiences, particularly Hispanic families, about the existence and quality of virtual public education as a genuine alternative, and position the brand as a provider of real, measurable outcomes for students. The challenge was not just awareness but credibility, convincing families who had never considered virtual school that it could deliver results equal to or better than traditional education.
Alerta developed the Outstanding Outcomes campaign from an original concept that put results at the center of the story, showing multicultural families what K12 students actually achieve, and making the case that virtual public education is not a compromise but an upgrade. We produced a full bilingual national campaign, including 4 broadcast spots in English and Spanish, a direct-response video, social media assets, Google Ads, a bilingual landing page, and a branded content segment on Univision. Building on the foundation established by Culture Guardians, Outstanding Outcomes continued to deepen K12's relationship with multicultural communities by moving the conversation from introduction to proof.
We developed Outstanding Outcomes from the insight that multicultural families do not just want an alternative to their neighborhood school; they want proof that the alternative works. The creative put real student outcomes front and center, giving families the evidence they needed to trust K12 with their children's education.
Every piece of content was produced in English and Spanish simultaneously, with scripts, voice recording, social copy, landing pages, and ads all built in both languages from the start, ensuring each version felt native rather than translated.
The multicultural campaign Alerta developed for K12 was so effective that the General Market team adopted it, extending the reach of our bilingual creative to all K12 targets nationwide. What started as a campaign for Hispanic families became the campaign for every American family considering virtual public education, proof that culturally specific work done right does not limit your audience, it expands it.
From broadcast to Google ads to a bilingual landing page, the campaign covered every touchpoint in the enrollment decision journey, building on the brand awareness established by Culture Guardians and moving families further down the path toward choosing K12 for their children.
Expand to a wider market. We help brands of all sizes take advantage of the bigger opportunity through a bilingual culture-conscious approach. Let’s chat today.
